The LDX 86N Series is the latest addition to the LDX Series for when resolution matters most, delivering native HD, 3G and 4K UHD images for the highest possible resolution and image clarity. The LDX 86N Series lets you grow into the formats you need tomorrow while buying only what you need today. With a daily, weekly or perpetual GV-eLicense upgrade path, you can move from any single speed HD/3G format to 4K UHD — from 3X HD speed to 6X HD/3X 3G speed — and even a camera that can switch between higher resolution and higher frame rate. The LDX 86N Series offers XDR — Extended Dynamic Range — operation (HDR with up to 15 F-stops or >800% of regular cameras) is available for all 50/59.94 Hz formats offering a new level of viewer experience.

The LDX 86N/86 also features an extended color gamut supporting ITU-R BT.2020, and the LDX 86 Series can be software-upgraded to utilize full 15 F-stops of high dynamic range (HDR) for all 50/59.94 Hz formats.

Easy-to-use control panel

Offers enhanced usability and supports accurate control through color-coded button lights for specific material or button functions, a built-in 7-inch mini menu touch panel with thumbnail display, button/macro bus macro name display, and more. Direct input via a three-axis (XYZ) joystick, dials, and a keyboard. Several user-customizable buttons are available to assign as functions.

6 M/E performance
2M/E + 4MELite™ with FLEXaKEY™ architecture

In addition to two full M/E’s, the switcher includes MELite. With cuts, mixing, wiping, and keying “all with preview” available from four MELite buses. Operators will enjoy the performance of 6M/E’s in a single unit. MELite is ready for a broad range of scenarios, such as providing an independent “web cut” output, expanding an operation with multiple control surfaces, delegating M/E resource and even allowing a single operator from a single desk to easily control independent transitions on multiple monitors. Excellent for staging applications.

4 keyers per M/E, plus 4 FLEXaKEY per system

The four FLEXaKEY system can be freely assigned to M/E 1, M/E 2, or MELite (AUX output). When assigned to M/E 2, up to eight keyers (4 keys and 4 FLEXaKEY) can be combined. DVE is available for FLEXaKEY to generate multiple P-in-Ps. FLEXaKEY can also be assigned to an MELite bus and Advanced Aux as an upstream keyer, and to multiple AUX buses to change each with keying output. Useful in many scenarios.

24 inputs/18 outputs standard, expandable to 48/18 or 40/22

Besides standard inputs and outputs, six expansion slots enable you to add optional I/O cards for easy in-field expansion. Easily incorporate an array of content from PC sources (such as PowerPoint, videos played on computers, webcam images, or Skype calling screens) and combine it with broadcast material. Even analog composite I/O can be added.

Four 2.5D DVEs per M/E, Four 3D DVEs

2.5D DVEs enable free arrangement of P-in-Ps in a 3D space using global axes. Also combines exceptionally well with 3D content, as with virtual studios. Flying key, which moves titles with DVEs applied, is available from all DVEs and can be assigned to all resources in any M/E, whether PGM, PST, or KEY 1?4. P-in-Ps are available in a variety of other shapes besides standard shapes such as quadrilaterals, and can be used in live sports coverage, for example. The switcher’s 3D DVEs include page turn and other warping effects.

3G and 4k upgrades


Systems supporting 3 Gbps 1080/59.94p or 50p and even 4K are a requirement today in many operations. Rest assured that the HVS-2000 is ready today or for your future upgrade plans.



The new Focus 75 Live 720p/1080i user-switchable system cameras represent a new entry level into the company’s legendary imaging quality. Three Xensium-FT CMOS imagers with global shutter — similar to CCD sensors  — do not produce any of the rolling shutter artifacts seen with other CMOS-based cameras, such as sensitivity to fast camera movements with short exposure time or sensitivity to short light flashes. This makes Focus 75 Live cameras ideal for smaller live studio and field applications, including regional broadcast stations, SNG vans, small OB vans, university sports productions, staging and houses of worship.

The reble610 is an evolution of the innovative and performing Reble310. The Reble610 differs for an accurate hardware design, absence of internal cabling and an increased modularity. 

The unit is built on a basic chassis with 4 extractable boards which makes maintenance and critical operations, like frequency modification, easy and efficient. The Reble610, like its predecessor, contains two hot swappable power supplies, both AC and DC versions are available. 

The modular approach has brought to the development of the data interface module (containing modulator, demodulator and data interface) and the RF module (containing Transmitter, Receiver and channel filter).

From an RF point of view the new transmission circuitry is able to guarantee at least 1 watt at the head with every modulation scheme, introducing in addition, wideband precorrection (up to 1GHz depending on frequency band). 

Major innovations on the digital input side, the interface is equipped with 10 BNC connectors configurable singularly as ASI/BTS inputs or outputs, in this way the unit functions de facto as a distributor and ASI matrix both inbound and outbound. 

The Reble610 can carry IP traffic to/from a GbE port, an E1 at 2048Kbit/s (alternatively to two ASI/BTS input/outputs). A connection named ‘transit' has been introduced so that the entire baseband can be forwarded to another unit, in order to efficiently build an RTX couple (repeater style)

To transfer all these signals the channel capacity has been increased to 56MHz and bitrate equal to 310Mbit/s; using an optional XPIC module (and an extra Reble610) it is possible to duplicate the bitrate increasing it to 610MBit/s, exploiting H and V polarizations and cancelling undesired content using special algorithms.

A new management software offers complete control over device parameters and settings, an on-board TFT touch-screen allows for a simple and intuitive user interface to check for anomalies. The same monitoring and control can be carried out thru a particularly easy to use web interface and thru SNMP.

scalable, pay-as-you-grow, licensing and software upgrade mechanism facilitates the launch of new services, or last minute network design changes, without rebuilding the entire network infrastructure. Migration from ASI to GbE and IF to L-band is facilitated by simple in-field installation of license keys.

Migration of standard distribution links towards S2 Extensions can be as simple as inserting a MDM6100 modem in the head-ends while keeping the installed base of IRDs.
Additional capabilities such as DVB-S2 extensions and others are anticipated to become available on the platform as the standardization efforts materialise in the near future. The brand new DVB-CID carrier identifier is already available as a software
option on the MDM6100.

Wide focal range

The DIGISUPER 60 xs offers a focal length range of 9.0mm to 540 mm (1080mm with extender). It offers good telephoto flexibility for high definition sports and entertainment event coverage within constricted production budgets.

Power optics

Advanced materials (including a high index ultra low dispersion material) combined with contemporary optical design and multilayer coatings produce an unsurpassed imaging system, delivering pristine results.

Internal Focus

Internal Focus uses a floating optical system to control chromatic aberrations. It allows operators to achieve wide-angle with reduced distortion and minimises variation of the centre of gravity while focusing.

Precision digital servo system

A digital servo system uses Canon-developed 16-bit optical rotary encoder devices to ensure precision control and repeatability of zoom and focus settings. The system allows for digital interface to Robotic and Virtual studio systems. 10-bit Iris Compatibility ensures high-resolution iris control.

Constant Angle Focusing System (CAFS)

CAFS uses a 32-bit CPU to eliminate focus "breathing". It calculates focus changes and synchronises the zoom to counteract picture size/angle of view changes when focusing.

Robust ergonomic design

The lens is ergonomically designed to eliminate centre-of-gravity variations with focus movement. Sealed optics offers protection against dust and smoke, while innovative electrical sealing techniques protect against radio interference.

Ecological design

All contemporary Canon lens systems are free of lead and other substances identified as harmful to the environment.

Crossover technology options; 4-position Turret

A crossover system allows use of the associated camera to switch in the optical extender system or change the aspect ratio between 16:9 and 4:3. 4-position turret includes spare switch positions.
