RTSH Analogue Broadcasting UHF

Supply of equipment for UHF analogue broadcasting in all of Albania, together with the relevant antenna systems and microwave systems in the network of analogue broadcasting. From 1995 until now TBS96 has been the main partner of RTSH for planning, installation, and maintenance of these systems in all of the broadcasting stations.

Pronet Microwave network throughout all of the Albanian territory

The microwave network for Pronet consists of over 30 microwave links from producers Proxim, SAF, etc. in order to cover all of the territory in Albania. Equipment installation and commissioning conform to all the technical standards.

ASICUDA Project for the General Customs Directory

The execution of this project for the General Customs Directory for data transmission to each customs point was concluded by creating a microwave network with over 14 connections, including the installation of high capacity UPS systems with over 10 hours of independence. Installation, commissioning and maintenance for a 2 year period.

Microwave network with 400 Mbps capacity

The DATACOM project for the General Directory of Police in Albania, consists in the communication of all the border checkpoints, police stations, regional directorates, with the General Police Directory and the Ministry on Internal Affairs. This project started in 2015 and during this project over 110 microwave systems have been installed in the network of data sharing with a capacity of 400 Mbps. Following the installation of the SAGEM microwave systems with 400 Mbps capacity in 2015, tbs96 has successfully maintained the whole network with over 110 sites, including connections in the microwave systems, supply and rectifying systems from ELTEK for the installed equipment in the outdoor racks.

In order for the network of digital broadcasting to expand, robust measurements are required for the signal distribution towards the broadcasting systems. The network of microwave systems is composed of microwave systems from Elber and NEC, which enable not only the connection between various stations, but also the backup from two different and independent sources to guarantee that broadcasting will not be interrupted and the delivery of the T2MI signal for the new broadcasting standard DVB-T2.

The implementation of this project began in 2017 while using the DVB-T2 broadcasting devices, with power from 200W to 2400W RMS, produced by Italian company Syes, while replacing the DVB-T transmitters, but also installing additional DVB-T2 transmitters in new sites. There are currently around 24 DVB-T2 broadcasting stations in all of Albania, which guarantee signal coverage in the
majority of the territory. The project is still under development in compliance with the plan approved by AMA (Authority of Audiovisual Media). Distribution of the signal of the Tring platform, transport stream T2 MI to the broadcasting points is executed through the microwave network ASI/ IP. In addition, for the dispersion of the T2 MI transport stream, fibre optics has been used while
also working as a backup.

Network of digital broadcasting TV Klan

The network of digital broadcasting for TV Klan has begun with the arrival of the new standard of broadcasting DVB-T, with project design and installation of the Head-End and broadcasting systems from 200 up to 600W RMS in 10 stations of broadcasting in DVB-T. Lately this has been switched over to the new standard of DVB-T2, which guarantees a higher quality of channels broadcasted. In this new standard the number of broadcasting stations has been increased to over 24, with power from 300 to 2200W RMS, thus ensuring coverage of over 85% of the territory and over 92% of the population in Albania. The network is composed of numerous components and equipment, starting from the digital transmitters (Plisch, Syes, etc) to the microwave system (Elber, NEC) which deliver the data to the broadcasting stations. The system of digital broadcasting has been configured in SFN to ensure signal synchronisation within each allotment. The main services have been project planning, installation and maintenance from 2012 to the date.
